Located at the south end of Avenida da Liberdade, Praça dos Restauradores is considered to be Lisbon expansion start point to north, away from Tagus River. One of the more hectic areas in the city, linking the Pombaline downtown to Praça Marquês de Pombal, it features an obelisk shaped monument built in 1886 to celebrate Portugal restoration of independence from Spain. At the monument pedestal, you can see two bronze figures representing Victory and Freedom.

Around the square there are several quaint buildings, including Palácio Foz, a beautiful palace from the 18th century. There you will also find one of the most symbolic funicular of Lisbon, the Elevador da Glória, offering a passthrough to Bairro Alto.

What makes the square stand out is undoubtedly its architecture, and its typical and historical buildings, like Orion Eden Hotel (former Eden cinema), the small bandstand, among others. It inherited its special charm since the 19th century when it became a mandatory point of passage for the bourgeoisie to flaunt.

This specific flat is on the 2nd floor of a luxurious refurbished building remodelled to the tiniest detail, with lift, 3 meters high ceilings, exquisite wooden floors, has a spacious living room with around 35m2, one room, one suite and a second WC. Natural light in all rooms and a superb view of the entire square, including Avenida da Liberdade. Equipped with independent AC in all of the divisions, a flat screen TV with more than 140 channels, Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machine and capsules to provide a comfortable experience. Apart from existing two bedrooms with double bed, there is a double sofa bed in the leaving room, a totally furnished kitchen with gaggenau appliances, and a modern and carefree decor. There are several metro stations 5 minutes away and a parking lot right across the street from the flat.

As in all UPPERGROUND apartments, daily rate includes Rituals amenities, and, regardless of the initial cleaning prior to the entry of our guests, we offer a complete weekly cleaning with a change of towels and bed linen for stays of 1 week or more.
